Atgeir Solutions hosted a CXO roundtable with Google Cloud on the topic “Agentic Data Cloud: Maximising ROI Through Zero Data Movement”. Leaders from banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) came together to talk about the role of data and AI in their industry. The session looked at how firms can get more out of their data while keeping security and governance in place.

What an Agentic Data Cloud offers
BFSI firms have to meet rising customer expectations and untangle complex data, all while keeping security tight. Faster decisions matter too, and those depend on an intelligent data foundation.
The roundtable looked at how an Agentic Data Cloud could help firms make better use of the data they already hold, in the place it already sits. Discussion centred on zero data movement, which means working with data across different environments without moving or copying it more than necessary. For BFSI, the pitch is simpler access to data and more efficient analytics, which gives AI applications a stronger base to run on. Agentic AI came up as well, as a step beyond traditional automation towards workflows that understand context and serve business goals.
Who spoke
Anand Deshpande, CEO of Atgeir Solutions, opened the event and moderated. He steered the conversation towards what BFSI firms stand to gain from data and AI, and what is getting in their way.
Google Cloud was represented by Harsh Shah and Krishnan Iyer, who spoke about where data and AI are heading, including modern data platforms and agentic AI. From Atgeir, Sayali Mahulkar and Gunjan Dhawas talked about the opportunities and challenges of bringing agentic AI into BFSI, and how to turn new technology into practical applications. Teams from both companies took part.
Looking ahead
The main takeaway was that a strong data foundation and AI capabilities need to be built together. Firms exploring agentic AI will need to reach the right data and build workflows around it, and keep their technology spending tied to business priorities.
For Atgeir, the event was a chance to meet industry leaders and compare notes on how modern data architectures and AI-led approaches can bring more value from data.
Atgeir thanks Google Cloud and every leader who joined, and looks forward to continuing the conversation on how Agentic Data Cloud and AI will shape financial services.
